The final TV news package

After one of my friends had their drink spiked on a student night in Bournemouth it really shook me up. It seems that Bournemouth has a way of lulling its student population into a false sense of security, when really you have to look after yourself just as much as you would anywhere else.

For this reason I decided to base my TV news assignment on drink spiking. I spoke to a student who had a particularly bad experience as well as a local policeman and I think I managed to balance the package as well as I could within the time limit of one minute and twenty seconds.

Kayleigh's story really made me think twice about how I act on nights out, and I hope it will for others too...
